Statistics for Calendar Year 2018
-In 2018, 19 patients and their families were hosted by The Thomas House.
-Stays ranged from one night to 5 1/2 weeks.
-Guests came from the towns of Cotopaxi, Buena Vista, Weston, Del Nort, Springfield, Flagler, Walsenburg, Monte Vista, Lamar, Florissant, Hartsel, Wiley, and Salida.

October, 2017

Statistics since opening
-Since opening in December 2007 there have been 163 patients.
-The average stay is four to six weeks, the longest, five and a half months.
-Guests have come from over 52 towns in Colorado.
-Domestically guests have come from the states of Missouri, Texas, Mississippi, Arizona, and Hawaii.
-Internationally guests have come from Canada, Viet Nam, and Micronesia.

-The Thomas House has hosted 18 patients and family.
-Stays ranged from 5 to 146 days.
-Patients and family came from the following locations: Woodland Park, Las Animas, Cotipaxi, Buena Vista, Elizabeth, Saquache, Canada, Salida, Lamar, La Vita, and Trinidad.

November, 2015

-The Thomas House has hosted 23 patients and family.
-Stays ranged from 2 to 93 days.
-Patients and family came from the following locations: Canon City, Cripple Creek, Hugo Laos, Walsh, Divide, Springfield, Alamosa, Granada, Trinidad and Salida.

November, 2014

Statistics from FY13
-The Thomas House has hosted 27 patients and family.
-The average stay was four weeks.
-Patients and family came from the following locations: Canon City, Saquache, Wylii, Lamar, Trinidad, Huge, Cripple Creek, Howard, Monte Vista, Springfield, Alamosa, Victor, Divide, Walsh, and finally the nation of Laos.

September, 2013

Statistics from FY12
-The Thomas House has continued to operate and serve families and patients in need.
-20 patients along with multiple friends and family have stayed.
-Guests came from the following locations: Calhan, Hugo, Cotapaxi, Aguilar, McClave, Buena Vista, Golden, Lamar, Canon City, Saquache, Alamosa, and Monte Vista.

December, 2011

Statistics from FY10
-23 patients from 17 different towns stayed in the two units.
-70% of patients and family stayed an average of 5 weeks.
-30% of patients and family stayed an average of 5 days.
-Patients visited from the following locations: Hasty CO, Springfield CO, Westin CO, Buena Vista CO, Howard CO, La Junta CO, Holly CO, San Luis CO, Trinidad CO, Sanford CO, Fairplay CO, Cripple Creek CO, Bulah CO, Lamar CO, Two Buttes CO, Aguilar CO, and Antonito CO.

-16 patients and 19 family members stayed at The Thomas House.
-74% of patients and family stayed an average of 5 1/2 weeks.
-26% of patients and family stayed an average of 5 days.
-Patients visited from the following locations: Alamosa CO, Antonita CO, Eads CO, Holly CO, Hugo CO, Lamar CO, Pueblo CO, Ramah CO, Salida CO, Sanford CO, Westcliffe CO, and the country of Micronesia.

January, 2009
The Thomas House recently had plans for a purpose built facility drawn up. Thanks goes out to Architect Jim Jones for his services.



June, 2008

May, 2008
The Thomas House is proud to announce that a second apartment has just been added. The new apartment will be used for short term guests. The apartments are now known as Unit 1 and Unit 2. Unit 1 remains to be used for long term radiation patients. Unit 2 will be oriented towards more short term stays.

We are extremely thankful to those who helped in making Unit 2 a reality.

December, 2007
The Thomas House website has completed revisions. The new site ushers in a new look, and features standards compliance with XHTML and CSS. Thanks goes to Styleshout for providing the bulk of the source.

November, 2007
The Thomas House celebrated completion with an open house. Thirty attendees in all were able to visit.

The Thomas House recently acquired an apartment two blocks from UCHealth. The first guests are already scheduled to take residence.
